Optometric Assistant

Duties include:

  • Prep patients for the Doctor.
  • Front office reception including greeting patients, phones, computer, scheduling, and insurance verification.
  • Check patients in and out.
  • Apply insurance benefits and collect payments for services and products.
  • Contact lens sales, ordering and training.

Must have good customer service skills.

Typing skills and some windows knowledge are necessary to be successful at this position.

Experience not a must but helpful.

Availability on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sundays from 11:00am to 3:30 pm a plus.
